Donna M. Zelinsky, age 60, of Mechanicsville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 1st, 2015 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown.

Born in Shenandoah, PA on July 13, 1954, she was the daughter of  Harry and Joan (Lukasik) Brobst of Pottsville.

Donna worked as a nurse’s aide for the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Schuylkill Haven. She was a member of St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon and she did volunteer work for the Family's helping Family's Organization for the Children's Christmas parties.

Donna was preceded in death by a brother Harry Brobst Jr. and a brother-in-law Stanley Zelinsky

In addition to her parents, Donna is survived by her husband of 43 years, Joseph J. Zelinsky Sr., Mechanicsville; a daughter Rose Reilly and her husband William, Pottsville, PA; a son Joseph J. Zelinsky Jr. and his wife Kathryn, Cressona, PA; 5 grandchildren: Corine, Celeste, and Jena Reilly and Joseph J. Zelinsky III and Jaylin Zelinsky; a great grandson, Ayden Kuzio; 2 sisters: Michele Cicero and her partner Gary Miller, Schuylkill Haven, PA; and Angela Weiser and her husband David, Schuylkill Haven, PA; 2 brothers: Thomas Brobst and his wife Linda, Schuylkill Haven, PA; and John Brobst and his partner Barb, Pottsville, PA; 2 sisters-in-law: Dawn Brobst, Pottsville, PA; and Sophia Felker and her husband Norman, Pottsville, PA; a brother-in-law Dave Zelinsky and his wife Jane, Pottsville, PA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon at 11AM on Wednesday, April 8th,  with Rev. David W. Karns officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday morning from 9-10:30AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon, PA 17965

Interment will be held in the Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery Chapel in Pottsville.
