Stanley J. Jalonski, Jr., age 75, of Pottsville, PA passed away Wednesday, July 8th, 2015 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown.
Born in Pottsville, PA on October 28, 1939, he was the son of the late Stanley J. Jalonski Sr. and Mary (Kanezo) Jalonski.
Stanley graduated from Saint Clair High School, Class of 1957. He worked as a machine operator, first for Cressona Knitting Mill and then for IWCO in Hamburg until retiring on May 30, 2015.
He was a member of the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville, a Lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, Mt. Carmel Council, and he was an avid golfer, who also loved to go bowling, fishing, and hunting.
Stanley is survived by his wife of 25 years, Barbara Ann (Gawley) Jalonski, Pottsville; step-daughter Donna M. Viates, Pottsville; step-son Raymond J. Viates, Virginia; granddaughter Olivia L. Viates, Virginia; brother-in-law Ronald J. Gawley and his wife Florence, St. Clair; godson and nephew Ronald P. Gawley, St. Clair; his best friend Ginger; and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, PA. at 11AM on Monday, July 13th, .
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Monday morning from 8:30-9:30AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon.
Interment will be held in the Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
