Florence Zimerofsky Vinglinsky, age 88, of Port Carbon, PA passed away with her loving family by her side on  Sunday, November 1st, 2015 at her home.

Born in Port Carbon, PA on June 1, 1927,  she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Wnek) Baranowsky.

Florence was a graduate of Port Carbon Soldier's Memorial High School, Class of 1946.

She was a retired sewing machine operator and a member of St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon.

Florence loved being with her family and friends and loved to sew and crochet. 

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family being preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward Zimerofsky in 1967, a son Vincent Zimerofsky, a brother Adam Baranowsky, 2 sisters: Elizabeth Dix, and Martha Mackuse, and a son-in-law Joseph Sullivan.

Florence is survived by 2 daughters: Michelle Sullivan, Port Carbon and  Felicia McCabe and her husband Thomas, Cumbola; 3 grandsons: Scott Zimerofsky and his wife Mindy, Pottsville, Vincent Zimerofsky and his wife Jessica, Pottsville, and Adam Zimerofsky and his wife Jaime, Minersville; a granddaughter Erin Hart and her husband Aldus, Auburn; 9 great-grandchildren: Parker, Tyler, Haley, Hannah, Chase, Caden, and Morgan Zimerofsky, Alexis Shilling, and Zachary Hart; and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon at 11AM on Saturday, November 7th,  with Rev. David W. Karns officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday morning from 10-11AM at the church.

Interment will be held in the St. Stephen Cemetery in Port Carbon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 101 Frack Street,  Frackville, PA 17931.

The Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon is in charge of arrangements.
