Doris H. Lloyd, age 90, of Orwigsburg, PA passed away on Monday, May 16th, 2016 at Orwigsburg Center.
Born in Pottsville, PA on November 21, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Lamar and Martha (Folk) Harron.
Doris was a graduate of Pottsville High School, Class of 1943. She worked as a salesperson for Pomeroy's Department Store and then for Alston's Card Shop for 16 years until retiring in 1991.
She was a member of the Christ Church in McKeansburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Lamar and Clarence Harron and a sister Jean Brokhoff.
Doris is survived by her husband of 65 years, John H. Lloyd, Orwigsburg; her daughter Carolyn Fisher and her husband Edward, Lewistown Valley; 2 grandsons: Christopher E. Fisher, Auburn and Timothy J. Fisher and his wife Kate, Auburn; and nieces and nephews.
A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon at 11AM on Friday, May 20th, with Rev. Sunny Stock officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Friday morning from 9-11AM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be held in the Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery Schuylkill Haven, PA.
