Joyce P. "Patsy" Alton, age 75, of Schuylkill Haven, PA passed away Friday, August 18th, 2017 at her home. Born in Pottsville, PA on September 12, 1941,  she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Kozlov) Eckert. Joyce was a graduate of Pottsville High School, Class of 1961.  She worked for the American Argo Corp. in Schuylkill Haven for over 20 years and then for Seton Manor Nursing Home in Orwigsburg for 10 years until retiring. Joyce was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Port Carbon.  She loved to travel and see different places and loved just being with and playing with her great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Robert C. Alton in June 1996 and a brother George Eckert. Joyce is survived by son Robert F. Alton, Palo Alto; daughter Brenda L. Wolf, Lebanon; 3 grandchildren: Todd Tedrick, Tamaqua, Colleen M. Alton, Bernville, and David R. Alton; 4 great-grandchildren: Persephone, Bentley, Kyla, and Kaden; 2 brothers: Francis Eckert, Palo Alto and John Eckert, Auburn; and nieces and nephews. A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon at 11AM on Wednesday, August 23rd,  with Rev. Lois Sterling officiating. Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday evening from 6-8PM and Wednesday morning from 10-11AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held in the Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery Schuylkill Haven, PA. Please send condolences to
