Alfred J. Albertini

Alfred J. Albertini, age 91, of Port Carbon, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 at his home.

Born in Minersville, PA on March 23, 1930, he was the son of the late Ceasar and Adeline (Agosti) Albertini.

Al was a graduate of Minersville High School. He served in the US Army from 1950 till 1952 and he worked for the Pipefitter's Local 524. Al was a longtime member of St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon and a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in St. Clair.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Joan Marie (Senkus) Albertini on March 26, 2015 and three brothers: Charles, Henry, and Leo Albertini.

Al is survived by  two sons: David J. Albertini and his wife Denise, Cressona and John P. Albertini and his wife Amanda, Pottsville; seven grandchildren: Julie Drummer, Taylar Albertini, Aaron Albertini, Zara Albertini, Alexander Albertini, Daniel Albertini, and Campbell Albertini; two great- grandchildren: Ella and Freya Drummer; a sister Mary Hashin, Minersville; and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in St. Clair at 12PM on Monday, January 10th, with Msgr. William Glosser officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Monday morning from 10-11:30AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon.

Interment will be held in the Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery in Schuylkill Haven, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Al's memory to either the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517.
