Alice Weiss (Weiss) Davis

Alice W. Davis, age 83, of St. Clair, PA passed away Wednesday, October 16th, 2024 at Green Valley Skilled Nursing and Rehab. in Pottsville. 

Born in Pottsville, PA on September 13, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Marguerite (Stone) Weiss.

Alice was a graduate of St. Clair High School. She worked as a seamstress for St. Clair Garment and then Hollander in Frackville. Alice was a member of the St. Clair Boy scouts and loved camping, hunting, fishing, reading, crocheting, cooking, and baking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years David Henry Davis on January 2, 2008.

Alice is survived by a sister Janet C. Little, St. Clair, PA; a brother Thomas Weiss, Downingtown, PA; a niece McKenna Archibald and her companion Ross Miller, Myrtle Beach, SC; nephews: Brian Archibald and his wife Jessica, Myrtle Beach, SC, Walter Archibald and his wife Cheryl, St. Clair, PA, Seth Archibald and his wife Mackenzie and their daughter Gracelynn Ray Archibald, Georgia; David Weiss, Downingtown, PA, and Kenneth Weiss, Downingtown, PA.  

Religious Services will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon at 11AM on Thursday, October 24th, with Pastor Chris Rotharpt officiating. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday morning from 10-11AM at the Funeral Home. 

Interment will be held in the Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund at 300 West Arch Street Pottsville, PA 17901.
