Ann Lubinsky

Ann Lubinsky, 98, of Pottsville, formerly of Port Carbon, passed away Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 at the home of her daughter Ann Marie, surrounded by her family.

Born in Buck Run on April 12, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Kachmar) Paroby. She was preceded in death by Francis Lubinsky, her beloved husband of 63 years as well as her brothers John and Michael Paroby.

Ann was a 1942 graduate of Cass Township High School. After high school she worked for two years in the garment industry and then worked at Fort Indiantown Gap and in Washington DC for the Census Bureau. She later attended the Ford Business School and retired from Pottsville Bleach and Dye after 16 years as a billing clerk. She was a member of St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church, Port Carbon and enjoyed singing in the choir and is currently a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in St. Clair.

Ann was always dedicated to her family and is survived by her son Robert Lubinsky, Pottsville; daughter: Ann Marie Buzalko and her husband Stephen, Pottsville, and his daughter Mandee and spouse Amy Esler, Orwigsburg; and daughter Jean Fetherston and her husband Stephen, Rockland, ME and his sons: Tyler and Cameron; Ann is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cats Sam and Sully whom she enjoyed. The family would like to thank the nurses and support staff of Hospice of Central Pennsylvania for the wonderful care that they provided to Ann and her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in St. Clair at 11AM on Tuesday, November 1st, with Msgr William Glosser officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with Ann's family on Tuesday morning from 10-11AM at the Church.

Interment will be held private at convenience of the family at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Francis Lubinsky Playground through the "Port Carbon Borough Recreation Fund".
