Barbara A. (Ziegler) Dudash

Barbara A Dudash, age 88, of Port Carbon, PA passed away Thursday, September 7th, 2023 at Seton Manor Nursing Home in Orwigsburg. 

Born in Pottsville, PA on January 17, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Simpson) Ziegler.

Barb was a graduate of Port Carbon Soldier's Memorial High School, Class of 1952. She worked at the family's business, Tracy's Hardware from 1973 to 1980 and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Port Carbon, where she was a member of the choir and the ladie's auxiliary. Barb also sang in the Schuylkill County Chorus.  

She was the last surviving member of both sides of her family and preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, Thomas Dudash on April 24, 2010 and a daughter Carol L. Shollenberger

Barb is survived by son Thomas J Dudash, Port Carbon; daughter Karen Dudash, Cressona; grandchildren Heather Shollenberger, Thomas Shollenberger and his wife Nicole, Joshua Dudash and his wife Krista, and Samantha & Travis Dudash; great-grandsons Evan, Tanner, Cole, and David; great-granddaughter Harmony; son-in-law Elmer Shollenberger, Port Carbon; and nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Port Carbon on Friday September 22nd at 7PM, with Rev. Lorraine Heckman officiating. 
 
Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday evening from 5-7PM at the church.
