Carol Ann Nettles, age 60, of Port Carbon, PA passed away Wednesday, November 24th, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown.
Born in Pottsville, PA on June 8, 1961, she was the daughter of Michael and Barbara (Myro) Quercia in Port Carbon.
Carol was a graduate of Saint Clair High School, Class of 1979. She worked as a caregiver for Ability in Motion in Reading. Carol was a foster parent for over 19 years and loved going to the casino.
In addition to her parents, Carol is survived by her husband of 41 years, David T. Nettles, Port Carbon; daughter Amanda Tray and her husband Shawn, Lake Wynonah; son David Nettles and his fiance' Trysha, Schuylkill Haven; daughter Alexis Nettles and her husband Michael Davenport, Minersville; grandsons: Nova and Kenny; sister Judy M. Quercia, St. Clair; brothers: Michael Quercia Jr. and his wife Terry, Port Carbon and Richard Quercia and his wife Lisa, Frackville; and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home in Port Carbon on Thursday December 2nd at 7PM, with Pastor Douglas Schwenk officiating.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday evening from 6-7PM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be held private.
