Edward Joseph Zemantauski, Sr. age 80, of Palo Alto, PA passed away Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pottsville.
Born in Schoentown, PA on May 31, 1941, he was the son of the late John and Julia (Dabashinsky) Zemantauski.
Ed served in the Us Army from 1960 till 1963. He worked various construction jobs thru out his life, he was also self-employed with E-Z Enterprizes. Ed was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved Polkas and cooking and he was known in the circles as the "King of Boilo".
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Edward J. Zemantauski Jr., two step-sons: Buddy and Brian Hoke, and three brothers, Joseph, John, and Albert Zemantauski
Ed is survived by his daughter-in-law Janet Zemantauski and his grandchildren: Zachary and Kaitlyn Zemantauski, all of Palo Alto; a sister Lillian Linder, New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews.
A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 11AM on Wednesday, February 9th, with Msgr. William Glosser officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday morning form 9-11AM at the Funeral Home
Interment with Military Honors will be held in the St. Casimir's Cemetery in Port Carbon.
