Eleanor Frances (Wilchusky) Marchalonis

Eleanor F. Marchalonis, age 90, of Port Carbon, PA passed away Saturday, December 11th, 2021 at Orwigsburg Center.

Born in Port Carbon, PA on January 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Kiselius) Wilchusky.

Eleanor was a graduate of Soldier's Memorial High School in Port Carbon and she was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Mahanoy City. Eleanor loved to decorate Easter eggs.

She was the last member of her immediate family, being preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years, Edward Anthony Marchalonis and three brothers: William, Bernard, and Eugene Wilchusky.

Eleanor is survived by a daughter Natalie Ann Amann, Collegeville; two sons: Ronald Anthony Marchalonis and his wife Winda, Las Vegas, NV and Raphael Allan Marchalonis, Port Carbon; three grandchildren: Valerie, Eric, and Courtney; a great-granddaughter Gwynn; and nieces and nephews.

A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 11AM on Tuesday, December 21st, with Deacon Jack Quirk officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday morning from 10-11AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be held in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
