Elizabeth Ann (Piacine) Adams

Elizabeth Ann Adams, age 92 of Palo Alto, PA, passed away Sunday, April 16th, 2023 at Geisinger St. Luke's Orwigsburg Campus.

Born in Palo Alto, PA on February 2, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Anna (Simchina) Piacine.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Glenn E. "Butch" Adams on April 22, 2014, three brothers: Louis, Francis, and Joseph Piacine and a sister Marie Verba.

Elizaberth is survived by 2 daughters:  Linda B. Petroski and her husband Stephen, Portsmouth, VA and Lisa C. Drebushenko and her husband Neil, Sinking Spring, PA; 3 grandchildren: Stephanie Snavely and her husband Blair, Wernersville, PA; Bradley D. Drebushenko and his partner Samatha Speiser, Lewes, DE; and Eric J. Drebushenko and his partner Jocelyn Seidt, Sinking Spring, PA; a great grandson Milo Drebushenko; a brother Robert Piacine, Palo Alto, PA; a sister Catherine Donahue, Philadelphia, PA; and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at  the Society of St. Stephen's Church, Port Carbon at 10AM on Thursdayday, April 20th, with Rev. Edward Connolly officiating. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday evening from 6-8PM and Thursday morning 8:30-9:30am at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon.

Interment will be held in the St. Stephen Cemetery Port Carbon. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA, P.O. Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901 or to the American Heart Association.
