Gary Hassenbein Obituary

Gary J. Hassenbein, age 63, of Port Carbon, PA passed away Wednesday, January 19th, 2022 at his home.

Born in Pottsville, PA on April 12, 1958, he was the son of the late Fred and Agnes (Pavlick) Hassenbein.

Gary was a graduate of Saint Clair High School and then earned a Master’s Degree in Education at Kutztown University. He worked as a Math Teacher for Blue Mountain School district for 35 years. Gary was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Pottsville.

Gary is survived by aunt Barbara Donahue, Port Carbon; uncle Richard Hassenbein, St. Clair; his best friend and companion Cuddles; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held private. The Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home in Port Carbon is in charge of arrangements. www.robertaevansjrfh.com
