Gerald John Nawrocki, age 87, of New Philadelphia, PA passed away Saturday, June 27th, 2026 at his home.
Born in Pottsville, PA on July 1, 1938, he was the son of the late Vincent and Isabel (Gavanus) Nawrocki.
Gerald was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School in Pottsville, Class of 1956. He served in the US Army as an SP% from 1957 till 1963. He worked as a Inspector at Carpenter Steel which later became Car Tech in Reading. Gerald was a member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in New Philadelphia, a member of the Wildcat Lodge, and an avid fan of Penn State and the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Vincent and Alvin Nawrocki.
Gerald is survived by his wife Ann Marie (Kulka) Nawrocki; New Philadelphia; son Jesse Nawrocki and his wife Denise and grandsons Jason and Jack Nawrocki, Annandale, NJ; daughter Jill Shilcusky and granddaughter Aislinn Shilcusky, Pottsville; sister Arlene Nawrocki, Reading; brother Thomas Nawrocki and his wife Dolores, New Philadelphia; and nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon on Monday July 6th at 10:45AM, with
Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday morning from 9:30AMtill time of service at the Funeral Home
Interment with Military Honors will be held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
