Harold Ebling Obituary

Harold Clarence Ebling, age 91, of Pottsville, PA passed away Friday, January 14th, 2022 at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital in Orwigsburg.

Born in Pottsville, PA on November 2, 1930, he was the son of the late William and Flora (Miller) Ebling.

Harold was a graduate of Pottsville High School, Class of 1951. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1952 till 1954. He was the owner and operator of H. M. Ebling Glass in Pottsville and was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson Nicholas Ebling, four brothers: Joseph, Irvin, William, and Raymond Ebling and three sisters: Dorthea Snyder, Betty Mullins, and Joyce Ebling.

Harold is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Elizabeth (Konkus) Ebling, Pottsville; a daughter Mary Landry, Texas; four sons: Harold Ebling and his wife Lisa, Mt. Carbon, Zachary Ebling, Pottsville, Matthew Ebling and his wife Tracey, Wernersville, and Keith Ebling and his wife Kristin, Schuylkill Haven; five grandsons: Christopher, Harold, Russie, Nathan, and Lucas; a step-granddaughter Bobbie Lynn; fifteen great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven on Wednesday January 19th at 10:30AM, with Msgr Edward Zemanik officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday morning from 9-10:30AM at the St. Ambrose Church.

Interment with Military Honors Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery Pottsville, PA.
