Harold Mundy Obituary
Harold E. Mundy, Jr. age 84, recently of Wyomissing, PA and formerly of Brockport, NY, passed away Saturday, March 29th, 2025 at the Reading Hospital.
Born in Somerville NJ, he was the son of the late Harold E. and Mildred Mundy.
Harold was a graduate of Hunterdon County High School and received his bachelor's degree from Lafayette College and his master's degree from NYU, both in mechanical engineering. He was employed as an aerospace engineer at Eastman Kodak for most of his working life.
Harold pursued a number of interests over his life, including amateur radio, photography, bicycling, hunting, fishing, and traveling. Following his retirement, he worked as a volunteer for a number of organizations including the ARC of Rochester and the Brockport Child Care Center. He also served as the treasurer for the Brockport Fire District and was a member of the Zoning Board for the Town of Clarkson, NY.
Harold is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Ann (DeRosa) Mundy; daughters Kristin Ebling and her husband Keith of Schuylkill Haven and Cynthia Mundy of Cambridge, MA; and twin grandsons, Lucas and Nathaniel.
A religious service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon at 10AM on Thursday, April 3rd, with Msgr. Edward Zemanik officiating.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday morning from 8:30-10 AM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be held in the St. Ambrose Cemetery in Cressona.
