Janet Agnes (Meck) Seiders

Janet Agnes Seiders, age 79, of Palo Alto, PA passed away Thursday, March 29th, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill, East, Pottsville

Born in Pottsville, PA on October 7, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Agnes (McNeely) Meck.

Janet was a graduate of Pottsville High School and then attended Penn State University and Eastern Mennonite College. She worked as a clerk at The Good Will Book Store in Pottsville. Janet was a member of the  Mountainside Bible Church in Palo Alto and was a bible school teacher. She loved being grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Derek Seiders.

Janet is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harry M. Seiders, Palo Alto; two sons: Jeffrey Seiders and his wife Darla, Palo Alto and Nathan Seiders and his wife Jess, Cressona; grandchildren: Kurt, Kyle, Kelsie  (Ken Martin), Alexis, and Autumn; and great-grandchildren: Ryan and Ellie.  

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Mountainside Bible Church in Palo Alto at 4PM on Friday, April 7th, with Pastor Kenton Martin officiating. 

Interment will be held private. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mountainside Bible Church, 6 Cadbury Street Pottsville, PA 17901.
