Joseph Francis Julian Jr.

Joseph F. Julian, Jr., age 78, of Schuylkill Haven, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 30th, 2021 at his home. Born in Pottsville, PA on April 24, 1943, he was the son of the late Joseph F. "Bud" and Rose (Luongo) Julian Sr. Joe was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School in Pottsville, Class of 1961 and then served in the US Army National Guard as a Specialist E-4 from 1963 till 1969. He worked at Reading Truck Body for over 43 years. Joe was a member of the Roedersville Game and Fish Association, the Friedensburg Fish and Game Association, the Tulpehocken Rifle and Pistol Club, and the Shartlesville Fish and Game Association. He was the last immediate member of his family, being preceded in death by his parents and a sister Mary Jane Julian. Joe is survived by his wife Kathryn "Kitty" (Cunningham) Julian who would've celebrated 55 years of marriage on July 8th and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 1PM on Monday, July 5th, with Deacon Jack Quirk officiating. Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Monday from 11AM-1PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held private.
