Joseph Michael Evans, Jr

Joseph Micheal Evans, Jr, age 33, of Pottsville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 12th, 2026.

Born in Pottsville, PA on May 10, 1993, he was the son of Joseph Michael and Christine (Miske) Evans.

Joe was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School, Class of 2012. He worked as a carpenter and loved to play the drums and the guitar.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Eugene Miske and uncle Jarred Evans.

In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by brother Dylan Evans; sisters: Gabrielle and Satrina Evans; nephews: Kayden and Cameron Evans and Myles Dekle; niece on the way Stella Joe; aunts: Rochelle Evans and her husband Gerald and Gina Marie Klein; uncles: Irvin Evans Jr. and his wife Kelly and James Miske and his wife Donna; maternal grandmother Marie (Powlick) Miske; paternal grandparents Irvin and Mary Ann (Douglas) Evans.  and many cousins.

A Religious Service will be held at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon at 11AM on Saturday, June 20th, with his uncle Irvin Evans officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday from 9-11AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be held private.
