Julia A. "Julie" (Chillemi) Legutko

Julia A. "Julie" Legutko, age 77, of Port Carbon, PA passed away Monday, September 15th, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill, East, Pottsville.

Born in Mansfield, Ohio on August 27, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Rita (Monti) Chillemi.

She was a graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School, Class of 1967. She worked as a rural carrier for the United States Postal Service in Pottsville.

Julie was a member of the former St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon and was Girl Scout Leader for over 20 years. She loved doing crafts, going to Disney and the beach, and most of all, her grandchildren.

Julie is survived by her husband of 44 years, David A. Legutko; four children: Jennifer Troiano (Tony), Bobbi Jo Cooper (Brian), Sheree Hill, and David Legutko; two sisters: Rosemary Powanda and Margaret Walters; brother Anthony Chillemi; ten grandchildren: Christopher Cooper (Andi), Connor Verhagen, Madison Legutko Scanlan (Ryan), Kaylee Kemfort (Kyle), Braden Verhagen, Alec Verhagen, Trevor Hill, Carrah Hill, Grant Legutko, and Riley Legutko; great-grandchildren: August and Jude Kemfort and a great granddaughter on the way; aunt Mary Kunisky; and nieces, nephews,and cousins.

A Religious Service will be held at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon, PA. at 7pm on Thursday, September 18th, with Msgr. William Glosser officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday 5-7pm at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be held in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA.
