Kelly Jo (Rose) Messina

Kelly Jo Messina, age 50, of Pottsville, PA passed away Saturday, September 24th, 2022 at her home.

Born in Pottsville, PA on April 9, she was the daughter of Barbara (Pomian) Rose of St. Clair and Kenneth W. Rose and his wife Jeanne of Schuylkill Haven.

Kelly was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Class of 1990, She attended Bloomsburg University and then graduated from the Schuylkill Institute of Business. Kelly was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Pottsville and a former member and President of the Pottsville  Mother's Football Boosters. Kelly last worked for the Pottsville Area School District.

In addition to her parents, Kelly is survived by her husband of 25 years, Anthony F. Messina and her son Stephen A. Messina, both of Pottsville; and a sister Kimberly R. Scholfield, Hummelstown. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday evening from 6-8PM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon.

Funeral Services and interment will be held private for Kelly's family.
