Lindsey Angeline Vigoda, age 25, of Port Carbon, PA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 1st, 2021 at her home.
Born in Pottsville, PA on September 21, 1995, she was the daughter of Bernard T. and Janine M. (Ruby) Vigoda of Port Carbon.
Lindsey was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Class of 2013, where she was involved in the welding department at the South Vo-Tech for 3 years. Lindsey then served in the US Army as a Specialist E-4 and worked as an Aviation Mechanic.
Lindsey was a member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in New Philadelphia, a former member of the Port Carbon Fire Company and the Vietnam Vets in Port Carbon, and she helped with the T.A.R.A. Rescue while serving in the Army in North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Michael P. Vigoda Sr. and her maternal grandparents Martin and Anna Marie Ruby
In addition to her parents, Lindsey is survived by her son Mason Brian Blickley; a brother Philip M. Vigoda; and her paternal grandmother Theresa Vigoda, all of Port Carbon; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in New Philadelphia at 11AM on Friday, April 9th, with Rev. Ronald Minner officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Friday morning from 8:30-10:30AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon.
Interment with Military Honors will be held in the St. Anthony of Padua Cemetery in Port Carbon.
