Mary Alice (Kerlinger) Pershing

Mary Alice Pershing, 50, of Pottsville passed away peacefully on July 12, 2023 at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. Born July 5, 1973, she was the daughter of Robert and Agnes Kerlinger. Mary Alice graduated from Central York High School, Class of 1991, and then graduated from York Technical Institute. She was an IT Technical Support Technician for Focus Brands. Mary Alice married William Brower on October 31, 2020. She was a Disney fanatic! Her and her husband had traveled to Disney World 6 times since 2019, and she enjoyed going on cruises.

Survivors in addition to her husband, Step daughters Mackenzie Brower and Taylor Mase; two grandchildren Aria and Maeve; sister Tiffany Lakatosh and brother Roy carroll II; godparents Vicki and Mike Kelly; Mother and father in law, Tammy and William Brower; Cherished cousins Vicki, Lisa, Jackie and Bill; Sisters in law Misty Kastroba, and Christina Tippett.

A service will be held on Monday July 17 at 7 pm from the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike Street Port Carbon. A viewing will be held from 5pm until the time of service at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name be made to the organization dedicated to providing wigs for patients in need, LVH Patient Assistance Fund, C/O Rochelle. 700 E.
