Patricia Ann (Grover) Thomas

Patricia Ann Thomas, age 83, of Palo Alto, PA passed away peacefully with her children that could be in attendance and those who loved her by her side at Luther Ridge on Friday, May 13th, 2022.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, PA on April 26, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Ruth (Hinkle) Grover.

Pat was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1957. She worked at Cressona Knitting Mill for over 25 years, was a member of the Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Schuylkill Haven and she served on the election bureau in Palo Alto.  Pat lived her life with quiet dignity, always putting others before herself. Her love always emanated from her light within her. She loved to dance, bake, roller skate when younger, and spend time with her children and grandchildren.  Pat also loved cruising the Caribbean with her husband, grand kids, and other friends.

She was the last member of her immediate family being preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 62 years, Ralph "Moe" Thomas on February 24, 2022, a brother Bruce Grover, and a sister Doris Wenhold.

Patricia is survived by her children: Susan Donton- Kuhns and husband Pete, Ralph Thomas Jr. and wife Marcella, Linda Mingos and husband Ron, Sharon Souchak and husband Tim, Patti Ann DaSilva and husband Jeff, and Joann Conrad; 15 grandchildren, Robert Donton Jr, Megan Frasnelli, Paige Thomas, Isaac Thomas, Jacob Mingos, Mallory Mingos, Heather Shappell, Shannon Shappell, Jeffrey DaSilva, Neal DaSilva, Derek DaSilva, Shane DaSilva, Ian Conrad, Kaile Conrad, and Tanner Conrad;  great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. 

A Religious Service will be held at the Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Schuylkill Haven at 11AM on Wednesday, May 18th, with Pastor Larry Laine officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday morning from 9:30-11AM at the Church.

Interment will be held in the St. John the Baptist No.2 Cemetery in Pottsville.
