Phyllis Ann (Stepanski) McHale

Phyllis Ann McHale, age 77, of Port Carbon, PA passed away Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 at Schuylkill Center in Pottsville.

Born in Pottsville, PA on June 11, 1946, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Zimmerman) Stepanski.

Phyllis was a graduate of Pottsville High School, Class of 1966. She first worked for Pine Shirt  in Pottsville as a seamstress and presser and then worked as a clerical worker for St. Clair and Associates for 20 years until retiring in 2014. Phyllis was a member of the former St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon and a member of St. Clare of Assisi Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Gerard McHale. 

Phyllis is survived by a son Brian McHale, Catawissa; a grandson Aidyn James McHale, Catawissa; sisters: Dorothy Kessler, Minersville and Kathleen Drum, Port Carbon.

Funeral Services will be held private.
