Robert Stephen Myro

Robert Stephen Myro, age 80, of Schoentown, PA passed away Friday, December 10th, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, East in Pottsville.

Born in Pottsville, PA on May 20, 1941, he was the son of the late Michael M. and Elizabeth M. (Hallick) Myro.

Bob was in the US Navy from 1959 till 1963 serving on the USS Suribachi. He worked in the construction industry and was an avid golfer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Michael and John Myro, a sister JoAnn Myro, and three sisters-in-law: Patricia (Padloick) Myro, Catherine (Schaurers) Myro, and Patricia (McDonald) Myro.

Bob is survived by a son Robert Myro and his wife Penny, Chicago, IL; a brother Bernard Myro Sr., Seltzer; a sister Rose Bradley and her husband Ted, Schoentown; and nieces and nephews.

Interment with Miltary Honors will be held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA at 9AM on Tuesday, December 28th.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
