Rosemary (Pawlowski) Czulada, 89, of Pottsville, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 24 at Providence Place Senior Living in Pottsville.
Born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania on August 26, 1934, Rosemary was a daughter of Stanley J. and Susan (Farenish) Pawlowski.
She was the beloved wife and widow of Charles J. Czulada. Together they shared 50 years of marriage.
Rosemary was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School. She was employed by Bell Telephone as a young woman, leaving to raise her sons. She returned to a career at Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation, retiring in 2000. She was a lifetime member of Church of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville where she enjoyed volunteering until she became physically unable. Rose was a very social person whose hobbies included crocheting, reading, shopping and trips to Stone Harbor, NJ. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and lovingly prepared delicious holiday meals featuring treasured ethnic recipes for her family leaving us with warm memories of numerous special occasions.
Surviving are her sons that she was exceedingly proud of Dr. Glenn Czulada (Beth), Covington Township, Dr. Gary Czulada (Colene), York, and Chip Czulada (Sandra), Sinking Spring; her grandchildren, Peter Czulada, Cristin Meyer, Justin Acosta, Amy Czulada, Amber Tabasso, Abby Czulada, Camilla Diament, Evan Czulada and Aaron Czulada; and great grandchildren Brandon, Lincoln, Hudson, Dawson, Brooklyn and Everett. Rose is also survived by her sister, Gloria Swanson and predeceased by brother, George Pawlowski.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to Raedelle Foster, friend, companion, and caretaker for her years of assistance, to the staff at Providence Place for the kindness and affection they bestowed upon Rose during her time there and to the nursing staff at Compassus for the expert and compassionate hospice care they provided most recently.
Funeral services for family and relatives will be private.
