Ruth Lois Colna

Ruth Lois Colna, age 86, of St. Clair, PA passed away Thursday, January 28th, 2021 at Geisinger St. Lukes Hospital in Orwigsburg.

Born in Diener's Hill, PA on July 17, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William Chester and Mary Jane (Evans) Allison.

Ruth worked as a seamstress at Saint Clair Garment. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Saint Clair, where she was a Deacon and a Trustee and a member of the Saint Clair Senior Citizens. The most important things in Ruth's life was all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was the last member of her immediate family being preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward J. Colna on July 11, 2011, and three sisters: Betty Webber, Beatrice Davis, and Keziah Kovich.

Ruth is survived by daughter Ruth Kerns and her husband Edward, St. Clair; son Edward Colna and his wife Elsie, Diener's Hill; daughter Colleen Kuzio and her husband Robert, Diener's Hill; daughter Betty Jean McNulty and her husband Tom, Schuylkill Haven; daughter Lisa Colna, St. Clair; 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon on Thursday February 4th, 2021 at 10:30AM, with Pastor Joseph McDemus officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday evening from 6-8PM and Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30AM at the Funeral Home

Interment will be held in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Saint Clair.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Bethlehem Baptist Church Deacon's Fund 1 Front & Carol Streets, Saint Clair, PA 17970 or to the Salvation Army.
