Sandra Ann (Marx) Marx

Sandra Ann Marx, age 64, of Port Carbon, PA passed away on Thursday, May 13th, 2021 at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital in Orwigsburg.

Born in Pottsville, PA on July 9, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Charles D. and Theresa A. (Visdarda) Marx.

Sandra was a graduate of Pottsville High School. She worked as a secretary at St. Mark's Church and as a clerk for GeeBee's and Value City in Pottsville. She was a member of former St. Casimir Roman Catholic Church in St. Clair.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sister Bonnie L. Marx and a brother-in-law Doug McGrath

Sandra is survived by a longtime companion Dennis L. Philapavage;  son Jason C. Marx; grandson Jason T. Marx; sisters Donna McGrath, Gilmer, TX and Rose Adams and her husband Donald, Pottsville; brothers Charles Marx, Pottsville; Michael Marx and his wife Debbie, Pottsville; Richard Marx and his wife Sherri, Pottsville; Andrew Marx and his wife Helene, Tamaqua; and Edward Marx and his companion Jackie Pottsville; and many nieces and nephews.

At the request of Sandra, there will not be any services.
