William Thomas “Bill” Reynolds Jr., Orwigsburg passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 16th. Born in Pottsville on January 10th, 1956, he was the son of the late William and Edna Reynolds of Black Heath, Minersville.
Bill was a graduate of Minersville Area High School, class of 1974, after which, he attended and graduated from Millersville University where he obtained a degree in Special Education. Bill later attended Penn State University, where he earned a second degree in Electrical Engineering. Bill was most recently employed at Omnova Solutions in Auburn. In his free time, he took great joy in coaching his children’s’ sports teams.
Bill married the love of his life, Donna Valentine Reynolds on April 27th, 1985, with whom he would have celebrated 38 years of marriage later this month. Together they had three children, Jessica, William III, and Michael. Bill will be affectionately remembered for his love of cooking, extensive knowledge of baseball and history, and his undying love and devotion for his family.
Bill is survived by his wife, Donna and their three children; a sister, Ellen, and her husband, Greg, of Neffs, PA; a brother, Phillip, and his wife, Connie, of Jameson, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22 at 10:30 AM at St. Ambrose Parish in Schuylkill Haven by Monsignor Edward Zemanik. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville, PA. A visitation with the family will be held at St. Ambrose Chapel on Saturday from 9:00-10:30 AM.
