John B. Archibald, age 66, of Schuylkill Haven, PA passed away Wednesday, December 30th, 2015 at Manor Care Health Services in Pottsville.
Born in Pottsville, PA on March 14, 1949, he was the son of the late Walter and Margaret Ann (Glasser) Archibald.
John served in the U.S. Army as a Pvt during the Vietnam War. He worked as an electrician in Texas and then as a bridge builder in New York.
John was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Friedensburg and a member of the American Legion Post 038 Robert E. Baker in Schuylkill Haven..
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Ann (Jones) Archibald.
John is survived by daughter Leslie Archibald, Texas; daughter Michelle Conner and her husband Thomas, Texas; son Ashton Archibald, Texas; son John Archibald, Schuylkill Haven, PA; daughter Ashley Moyer and her husband Steve, Leesport, PA; sister Carolyn Krammer, Cressona, PA; brother Walter Archibald, New York; sister Leslie Bair, Florida; aunt Marie Glasser, Shuylkill Haven, PA; and nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service and interment with military honors will be held at the St. John's Cemetery in Auburn, PA on Tuesday January 5th at 10AM, with Rev Peggy Sue Pfeffer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion, Post 038 Robert E. Baker Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
