Margaret C. Campion, age 86, of Pottsville, PA passed away Monday, March 20th, 2017 at the Lehigh Valley Health Network, Schuylkill East in Pottsville.

Born in Pottsville, PA on September 3, 1930,  she was the daughter of the late Irvin J. and Theresa A. (Homer) Colclough.

Margaret was a graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School, Class of 1948 and then attended the Ford School of Business in Pottsville. She first worked for the Pennsylvania National Bank in Pottsville and then worked as the supervisor for the Unanimous Call Center for the Bell Telephone Company in Pottsville until retiring in 1986.

Margaret was a member of St. Micheal the ArchAngel Catholic Church in Minersville and a member of the PIONEERS. Margaret loved spending time with her family, loved reading, and her faith was her passion.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Cyril A. Campion on June 10, 2011, a brother George Colclough, and 2 sisters: Catherine and Theresa Colclough.

Margaret is survived by a son Brian  P. Campion and his wife Debra, Llewellyn; a granddaughter Ashley E. Tempalski, a grandson Christopher M. Campion, a great-grandson Jax B. Ruddy, a great-granddaughter Giana M. Tempalski, all of Minersville; a sister Marie Hochgertel, Pottsville; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the ArchAngel Catholic Church in Minersville at 11AM on Friday, March 24th, with Rev. Christopher Zelonis officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Friday morning from 9-10:30AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home 208 Pike St., Port Carbon.

Interment will be held in the Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Pottsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael the ArchAngel Church Memorial Fund, 538 Sunbury Street, Minersville, PA 17954.

Dear Brian and family,
Please accept my condolences for the passing of your Mom. She was a lovely person. I worked with her at Bell Tel. in Pottsville and she was a good supervisor.
