Charles H.  Altemos Jr. Rush, age 64, of Schuylkill Haven, PA passed away Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Pottsville, PA on August 27, 1954,  he was the son of the late Charles H. Altemos Sr. and Harriet J. (Barnes) Wade.
Charles was a graduate of Pottsville High School, he served in the U.S. Army, and then owned and operated Rush Appliance in Georgia until retiring.
Charles was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven and he was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Pottsville. Charles loved cooking and camping.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Rush.
Charles is survived by his fiance' Laurie J. Weist; a son Rosco Key; grandchildren: Hunter, Bryce, Mya, Livvy, Noah, and Mary Jane; sisters: Kathryn Keefer, Evelyn Koch, Joanne Williams, Charlene Koch, Patricia Schappell, and Helen Wade; brother John Altemos; niece Holly Tassone; adopted Mom Dolores "Mom" Pitts; and many other nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven at 10:30AM on Tuesday, September 25th, with Msgr. William Zemanick officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family Tuesday morning from 9:15-10:15am in St. Ambrose Church's Chapel.
Interment with Military Honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help with Charles funeral costs to the Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home 208 Pike Street, Port Carbon, PA 17965.
