Clarence "Poopsy" S. Wilson, age 63, of Pottsville, PA passed away Monday, September 13th, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown.

Born in Pottsville, PA on March 2, 1958, he was the son of the late Henry C. and Martha V. (Troup) Wilson.

Poopsy was a graduate of Pottsville High School, Class of 1977. He worked for Phillips Van Heusen in Pottsville until retiring. Poopsy was a lifelong avid billiards player, an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia 76ers, and the family prankster and story teller.

Poopsy is survived by his longtime companion of 47 years, Bev Houtz; sisters: Margaret Wilson, Sandra Wilson (Jan), and Mary Jane Wilson; brothers: Dennis Troup, Robert Wilson (Jayne), and Richard Wilson (Eva); his special niece Marie Wilson; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 11AM on Friday, September 17th,  with James Fryer officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday from 6-8PM and Friday from 10-11AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery in Schuylkill Haven.

So sorry for your loss! I worked with Poopsy at PVH for many, many years, he was such a nice man.

Our thoughts and prayers are with family and friends at this time. Clarence and Bev have been long-time, great neighbors. Talking to him at the mailbox and over the fence will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace, Clarence. We will truly miss you. Don and Deb
